According to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, Zach LaVine continues to wear a walking boot as reported. However, he corroborated Coach Billy Donovan’s assertion that his recovery is progressing faster than anticipated.
LaVine explained that the soft tissue surrounding the tendon requires time to heal, expressing optimism about discarding the boot in approximately three weeks.
Despite the team’s initial prognosis, which indicated a four-to-six-month timeline for his return, LaVine is showing signs of an expedited recovery.
