Throughout the course of NFL history, South Florida has given us some of the most elite playmakers at the wide receiver position.
Guys like Andre Johnson or Michael Irvin left their mark in the league for years, paving the way for so many more guys that came after them.
Notably, Zay Flowers is one of those guys, as the Baltimore Ravens rookie took the league by storm right away, picking up things where he left off after a bright stint at Boston College and emerging as Lamar Jackson’s No. 1 guy in the passing game.
With that in mind, Evan Washburn of CBS Sports asked him who his top five wide receivers from South Florida were, and while he did pay his respects to those who were there before him, he decided to go with some younger players.

First, he talked about Jerry Jeudy, who has been tangled up in trade rumors for quite a while now.
While the talent is more than evident, he hasn’t been able to make the desired impact for the Denver Broncos thus far.
Elijah Moore also got the nod.
He’s a versatile guy who can hurt people out of the backfield or become a big-play threat downfield.
Unsurprisingly, he also chose Amari Cooper.
Cooper is coming off one of the best seasons of his career, dominating with the Cleveland Browns.
He later chose himself, which is pretty much self-explanatory.
Last but not least, he tipped his hat to Calvin Ridley.
Ridley didn’t miss a beat despite his long suspension and kept doing his thing with the Jacksonville Jaguars this season, becoming another reliable option for Trevor Lawrence.
