Arsenal is reportedly considering making a move for Tottenham midfielder Xavi Simons this summer.
Despite only joining Tottenham from RB Leipzig less than a year ago, the Netherlands international has faced significant challenges this season, which has affected the entire club.
With Tottenham potentially facing relegation to the Championship, it seems unlikely that Simons would want to remain at the club if that occurs.
Journalist Ekrem Konur has indicated that both Arsenal and other top clubs like Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are showing interest in Simons, with reports suggesting he might be available for around €50 million.

While the €50 million price tag has been reported, it is suspected that Tottenham would expect significantly more should Arsenal formalize their interest.
Does Arsenal Need Xavi Simons?
Adding a player with creativity and flair could greatly benefit Arsenal, as Mikel Arteta’s squad has sometimes been criticized for lacking direct attacking quality. Simons, with only four goals and five assists across all competitions this season, could be a viable option.
However, playing in a struggling Spurs side may have stifled his potential, and a move to Arsenal could see the 22-year-old flourish alongside better teammates.
That said, one key issue remains: Tottenham’s willingness to sell to a rival club, as transactions between these two teams are rare.
