Belinda Bencic announced the birth of baby girl Bella, her first child.
The reigning Olympic singles gold medalist and longtime boyfriend Martin Hromkovic welcomed the child on April 23rd.
“Bella , 23.4.2024, Our love 🩷” their joint Instagram caption read.
The 27-year-old former World No.4 was welcomed into the mom’s club by several top players and coaches. Barbara Rittner, Carla Suarez Navarro, Donna Vekic, Yanina Wickmayer and Ajla Tomljanovic were among those who sent congratulatory notes.
Bencic last competed at the 2023 San Diego Open in September – ranked No.15 in the world at the time. She claimed two titles in 2023 and was 31-13 overall.
