Evann Guessand’s temporary move to Crystal Palace is likely to become a long-term arrangement this summer, as Aston Villa is reportedly on board with finding a deal for the forward to stay at Selhurst Park.
The 24-year-old player secured a loan to Palace in January after struggling to establish a prominent position at Villa Park. Recent reports indicate that both clubs are inclined toward solidifying this option, according to Football Insider.
Crystal Palace officially confirmed Guessand’s loan deal in January, which runs until the close of the current season, with an option to buy that has been speculated to be in the region of £28 million. However, the structure of this deal might be negotiated differently between the two teams.
This potential transfer appears beneficial from several angles. For Palace, Guessand adds a dynamic and versatile attacking option. His capabilities allow him to operate centrally, stretch wide, and deliver direct challenges for defenders.
