During his press conference, Arteta expressed that hearing the good news from his son was one of the greatest moments of his life. Journalist Charles Watts reported Arteta’s delightful reaction upon receiving the news.
Arteta shared, “It’s one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. I went home, I went outside, I started to do some BBQ. I couldn’t watch it (the match). I could hear noises from inside, then my son opened the door, ran towards me. He was crying and he said, ‘We are champions, daddy!'”
