Earlier this week, New England Patriots legend and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady was the subject of a live roast on Netflix, with nothing off limits, as many of his teammates were in attendance along with several comedians.
With Brady playing in the NFL for two decades and winning seven Super Bowl titles during that time, six with the Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before calling it a career, there was plenty of ammunition for the roasters to use once they got their time at the podium.
Along with being arguably the best player and quarterback in NFL history, Brady made a lot of noise during his career off the field being the husband of a very successful supermodel, being involved in a number of scandals, and having a love-and-hate relationship with longtime Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
In a surprising twist, Belichick made an appearance at the roast and was arguably the best part of the roast, as he made fun of himself as well as his former superstar quarterback, which is something many were shocked to see given his stoic personality.
After the roast, it seemed like the tension between Belichick and Brady took a backseat as the relationship was better than most people anticipated, which is something former Patriots star Julian Edelman addressed on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
“They love each other, I’ve always said that,” Edelman said.

With Belichick recently being fired by the Patriots and the documentary about the team’s dynasty seemingly being very hostile toward the highly successful head coach, there’s been a lot of tension in the air, but that appears to have subsided after this appearance.
Now Belichick will try to pick up the pieces and find another job in the NFL, which may have to wait until next offseason.
