Dean Henderson, the goalkeeper for Crystal Palace, has sparked discussions about a possible transfer this summer after changing his representation to a new agency.
The 29-year-old recently signed with Unique Sports Group (USG), a move often indicative of an upcoming significant transfer or contract discussions.
This agency switch comes at a time when rumors suggest that Tottenham is interested in Henderson as they seek a replacement for Guglielmo Vicario.
Henderson’s Agency Change Triggers Transfer Rumors
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano announced the agency change on Saturday via X, stating, “Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson has signed today with Unique Sports Group as his new agency.”
In the current 2025/26 season, Henderson has excelled, achieving ten clean sheets.
With Tottenham enduring a “defensive crisis,” Henderson has emerged as a top target for the club looking for a long-term solution at goalkeeper.
Associating with USG places Henderson alongside several notable Premier League talents, such as Anthony Gordon, Marc Guehi, and Reece James.
Sources indicate that this agency change at this point in the season signals that Henderson is bracing for “all possibilities” when the transfer window opens in June.
Crystal Palace Aims to Retain Henderson
Despite the increasing rumors, Crystal Palace remains firm in not planning to sell Henderson.
The club’s management considers him an essential component and is not willing to listen to offers for the former Manchester United player.
Henderson’s current contract runs until 2028, and Crystal Palace is reportedly working on a new deal to secure his future at the club.
As they aim to build a strong team for the future, the new manager, who will replace Oliver Glasner next season, will likely want to keep a talented goalkeeper like Henderson on the roster.
