Phil Mickelson’s schedule is shifting in 2024 as he moves away from his traditional PGA Tour plans. Mickelson, a six-time major champion, made a controversial decision to join the new Saudi-backed LIV Golf League, becoming a pioneer of this new rival to the PGA Tour. His last PGA Tour appearance was at the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open, where he missed the cut. Since then, he has been involved in the breakaway LIV Tour led by CEO Greg Norman. Mickelson captains the Hy Flyers team, which includes Brendan Steele, Andy Ogletree, and Cameron Tringale.
