Real Madrid guard Carlos Alocen might finally be back in the game on Sunday (26/12) against Morabanc Andorra, ending a hiatus of over 21 months.
As reported by Marca, Alocen has been training with the team for the past few weeks and is in contention to be part of Real Madrid’s 12-man roster for their upcoming ACB match.
“I think so and we hope so,” said Real coach Chus Mateo on Alocen’s potential comeback. “It could be that Alocen would return, although it could also be that he doesn’t.”
Alocen experienced a full tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee in February 2022 while playing in a Spanish League match against Unicaja Malaga.
